Poetic, crystalline, elegant - "Sentient" is a perfect complement to "Escape...", focusing a bit more on rhythmic exploration. It may feel less painterly and more ascetic in the process (e.g. tracks like "Activate"), but if you stay tuned there's plenty of the cathartic synthwork and conceptual depth that made Oscillian a go-to act for me. Add vocal banger "The Brightest Cry" and a Blade Runner-esque "Coda" and you're in for a ride. x0riente
This song is very near and dear to me. . . It reminds me of finally letting go. . . And that through music and passionate understanding of ones self that I can finally let go of the ones I've lost along the way as well as try to find the people that really need me. . . This song hurts a lot. . . But heals on a much grander scale. . .
